"International Banking" was the feel I going for on this brochure. The people are created in Poser, the balance created in Photoshop.
DSD wanted a clean brochure that spoke clearly of the services they offered. There was a lot of copy to design into, not a lot of photos. I didn't want it to look too busy, so I broke the text up for colour and used large numbers to break up the services offered. I used the company colour, Pantone 300, liberally through the brochure. Brochure created in Adobe Illustrator.
To help encourage CP employees to remain safe in the yard and on the main line, I created this brochure highlighting the HiViz apparel available to them. I used coloured boxes to break the page up into sections and a coloured background to enhance to look of the apparel. Created in CorelDRAW.
These little pamphlets were positioned at the hospital desks throughout Ontario and Quebec. They highlight the services offered plus a free "Get Well Soon" card (3 different choices of cards) when your ordered the service. The challenge was to fit so much copy and photos into a small size (5.2x11) and not be too busy. Created in CorelDRAW, images enhanced in Photoshop.
Meditel was expanding their service base with a one-of-a-kind service. Their products were viewed on hospital monitors, to the brochure design needed to reflect that fact. All the channels and services they were offering were too numerous for the cover, so the client and I chose a few icons that would represent the whole. the back cover shows which hospitals already use thier tried-and-true services. CorelDRAW and Photoshop.
Richard Erlenson is an award-winning photographer who was offering 1-Day courses. He wanted a clean look highlighting some of his work and the location of his courses. I did a format where Richard could get 3 pamphlets on one page, therefore reducing his printing costs. Created in CorelDRAW.
This is a large format newspaper sized brochure for Richard Erlendson's The Photo Course in a Day series. This brochure opens up into a full-sized newspaper showcasing some of his award-winning photos. Created in CorelDRAW.
Pioneer Ranch Camps Alberta wanted a unique brochure to be distributed from churches, colleges and universities. This pieces is newspaper size that folds down to quarter size for easy distribution. Photos of the camp activities are spread liberally through the brochure, organized by activity. Created entirely in CorelDRAW.
The first of many campaigns from the Roman Catholic Church in Montreal. I created the Pillars Trust logo as well as the illustration of the presiding Bishop. Meant to be only 2-colour, I chose green, the colour they wanted to use in all their advertising in 1993, subsequent years used different colours. The logo and illustration were used for the next decade. Pen and ink on illustration board, assembled in Adobe Illustrator.
Inter-city Video distributed their Rental Price guide to their current and prospective clientele. I wanted to avoid confusion regarding the effective year, so I made the year quite large and hard to miss. With samples of the products that were offered, I used white to separate the best sellers from the balance of offered products. Background created in Photoshop, the balance assembled in CorelDRAW.
A new product from Hopitel was designed for hospital audiences. The Vitals Capture logo reflects the heart beat in a monitor, the serene woman looks happy with her health services and the many uses of the products are reflected in the images below. The back panel shows how many hospitals are already using Hopitel's tried and true technology. Created completely in CorelDRAW.
